I'm never satisfied with a performance. I am pleased when a show, a film or a gig goes well and the audience is full of kind words and praise, but as an artist, I know there's always more. I love the rehearsal process. People think actors are trying to find out who the character is, in truth, we are trying to find out who we are, parts of ourselves that refine the role and make it ours.
